I and my 5 year old son were in a bank to make a deposit when a bank robber entered and declared a holdup. I was at the far end of the bank so it was the least of my worry if ever he included all the people within and takes all our hand-carried possessions.

The sun was already setting and it was a beautiful sight at the breakwater. He was lost in this bliss that he did not notice two men sitting beside him. He was startled when one of them asked him to get up and walk with them.

Until he experienced a dangerous situation, my friend would never think of using any self defense device. He does not want to hurt anybody, being a mild mannered person.

Before she was assigned to the graveyard shift, she did not think much about self defense. Our shift in the car factory is changed every 3 weeks. That was why I was trying to convince her about this situation.

Early this week, my daughter who is in college called to give me her thanks for the cell phone stun gun that I gave her. She started college only one and a half months ago. Her campus is about 250 miles away from us.

When we were little, it was fairly safe to play in the streets. With the way society has developed, the streets are no longer safe for our kids. When you are walking out alone at night, this becomes even truer.

My motion for additional citizen patrollers was declined owing to a slump in the town coffers. The rookies would have made themselves useful in parts of the neighborhood at the highest risk of experiencing crime. Instead, I had to use my imagination.

We were the only two people in the private lounge. He was quite inebriated and taking longer than necessary to settle the additional bill for the party. I had to wonder if I was going to have to dispense my red hot lipstick pepper spray that night.

Attackers strike rather randomly. When they find a window of opportunity, they will grab it at any time and place.
