Seven Reasons Why She Can’t Have A Baby

There are many different variables that influence whether you can get pregnant or not. If you have been trying to conceive for longer than six months and have not been able to get pregnant, there may be an issue with infertility with either you or your spouse. For females, the following is a list of some of the top possibilities that you have not been able to conceive.

The first reason is related to the woman’s ovulation cycle. Hormonal imbalances can sometimes cause the cycle of releasing mature eggs from the ovaries to be disrupted or irregular. This irregularity within the cycle can significantly interfere with a woman’s ability to conceive because the eggs are either not available at the right time within the cycle or they have not reached maturity and are therefore unsuited for fertilization.

Reason number two: The eggs are damaged. The quality of female eggs begin to decline rapidly when women approach their late 30’s to mid 40’s. As the quality declined, it becomes more and more difficult for the eggs to conceive or to sustain a healthy pregnancy if conception does take place. While age is one factor in the declining quality of female eggs, there are treatments that can overcome this obstacle.

The third reason for so-called infertility might be the result of POCS or poly-cystic ovaries syndrome. This relatively common condition happens when masculine hormones are produced at high levels and cause a hormonal imbalance. This imbalance caused by high levels of testosterone can significantly interfere with the regular processes of fertilization and will therefore prevent pregnancy for happening.

A fourth reason for problems with getting pregnant is endometriosis. Endometriosis can often cause extreme pain during a woman’s menstrual cycle and often is accompanied by unusually heavy bleeding. This medical condition is caused by the tissue inside of the uterus growing outside and blocking the fallopian tubes. Occasionally doctors will suggest a Laparoscopy, which is surgical process often used to treat this condition. The option of surgery, however, may not be the most effective choice for each and every woman in this situation.

The fifth reason is that the fallopian tubes are being blocked and do not allow the mature eggs to enter the uterus. The fallopian tubes run down the sides of the uterus and carry the eggs from the ovaries. If one or both of these tubes are blocked for any reason, sperm will not be able to fertilize the eggs and conception cannot occur.

The sixth reason which will impact a woman’s inability to conceive is that the male sperm has issues. The problem with the sperm can either be that there are not enough or that they are merely too slow and do not reach the egg in time. Other problems with sperm can be linked to abnormalities or genetic deficiencies that compromise their ability to fertilize the egg.

The seventh reason that some women have difficulty getting pregnant is that they’re overweight. Several research studies have confirmed that a woman’s body mass index can have a substantial impact on her ability to conceive. Sub-fertility in Women who are obese or severely overweight is common. Other research studies indicate that a woman’s chances of getting pregnant decreases by how far she is beyond her ideal body mass index. Losing weight will not guarantee that a woman will be able to conceive, but it does appear to boost her chances.
