In as much as you want to get the healthy, natural sugar, it is inevitable sometimes to still eat the processed ones. So always make sure to take only six teaspoons of it per day (for woman) or nine teaspoons (for man).

Don’t feel bad if the price of your much loved soda becomes more expensive. Instead, thank the government for the added tax because this means they care for your health. Even support them in promoting their “no to sugar” campaign to food manufacturing corporations.

From an annual 50 gallons of beverage consumption, the $0.50 sales tax on sugary soft drinks can possibly reduce such to only 40 galloons each year. With this declining effect on sales, more businesses find it more beneficial to just eliminate their sugar-related product lines.

Aside from saving yourself from heart disease and loosing some pennies, you can also get rid of stroke, diabetes, high blood pressure and other health problems. So help promote the growing awareness on the different negative effects of sugar for a healthier and better life.
