Then begin the interval training with short bursts that last for about 1 minute, try to make the burst worth it (somewhere between 7-10 on your personal intensity scale) following up with another minute of low intensity (or 4 to 6 on your personal scale) and then repeat this process 7 to 10 times during your routine, of course depending on your personal limits. Always finish with a proper 5 minute or so cool down that is low intensity that decreases as your warm up finishes, and of courses try not to forget about stretching afterwords.
The great thing about this workout is that it can grow with you as your fitness level and stamina improves. As you get in better shape, you can increase your intensity during the intervals, increase the time of the high intensity intervals or reduce the rest time between high intensity bursts. Also, change up the type of cardio you do every once in awhile. It’ll not only keep you from getting bored but it’ll help keep your body from adapting to the same type of exercise.
