Do You Have A Painful Yeast Infection?

A yeast infection can be not only physically irritating and painful but it can also be embarrassing to try to treat. Now more than ever we have access to a wide variety of treatment options, everything from natural treatment option to over the counter ointment and creams and finally doctor prescribed medications. For today we will be focusing on homeopathic treatment options. Home treatment options have the distinct advantage of being just that, options that you can use at home! This means that you no longer need to go to the pharmacy and stand around reading box after box of instructions while wondering if they will actually work. And you won’t need to wait for days to get an appointment with your doctor.

How many of us really even know what a yeast infection is or what can cause it? Yeast is found naturally inside a woman’s body, it only turns into an infection when it becomes an overgrowth or excessive. Simple things can cause them like wearing non-breathable fabrics, clothing that is too tight or even wearing a wet or damp bathing suit for too long.

A very common and all natural cure is to use an organic and sugar free yogurt. With this treatment option there are several ways that it can be used. The first way to use this is to apply the yogurt to the area that is irritated as it will help to cool the burning itch. The next way that is recommended using it is to take a small amount on a tampon and insert it into the vagina. Lastly and perhaps the easiest method of use is to eat a few large servings every day.

The other two options that we feel compelled to mention are Apple Cider Vinegar and Garlic. Apple Cider Vinegar is very easy to use as it is simply used as a wash that is mixed with water, or it can just be poured strait into warm bath water and used as a soak. The garlic on the other hand is used mostly the same as the yogurt. Eaten in large quantities or crushed and made into a paste that is applied to the area that is irritated.

Prior to starting any new treatments plans you will need to speak to your doctor.
