It is Day eleven! Chad’s been on the homeopathic HCG diet for eleven days currently. Some can say that he is completing the HCG diet Utah style. All that means is that he finds himself as one of the many Utah residents that think HCG dieting is advantageous. For Chad…it’s going well. At least it’s going well so far. He keeps himself aware of the protocol and tries not to venture away from the protocol. He carts the protocol around (he loves that they provided him with a pocket guide protocol). When he has it with him it’s harder for him to “justify” and break the protocol.
On Day 11 he got out of bed and weighed himself. His weight was at 229 pounds. He’s lost another pound. Losing weight when you’re dieting…is there anything more satisfying than that? Chad’s moving in the right direction. Chad’s been noticing that he’s had more energy while he’s been on the diet which he finds exciting.
While strenuous exercise is a HCG dieting no-no…mild activity is great. Chad finds that he likes the habit he’s fallen into of taking a calm walk each day after work. It’s just enough to make him feel that he did something active without breaking the rules. And it somehow helps him to be excited about starting a new day and weighing himself again in the morning.
Because Chad likes to “know it all”…(notice I actually call Chad a Know It All) he has been studying up on HCG dieting. He got a few books and he keeps finding new informative articles and such to read online. Pretty soon he’ll be an expert. One bit of info that he’s found that is particularly interesting is that dieters who have done the diet multiple times find that it gets easier each time.
When asked how he feels about his diet so far Chad says, “I’m feeling great. I feel like I’m making a lot of changes and that they are all good changes that were necessary for my own good. I’m changing my life by losing weight.”
One tool that Chad suggests every HCG dieter take advantage of is the HCG Diet Direct call center. They are available by phone to answer any questions or concerns; to discuss food options. Chad finds himself calling in fairly frequently with questions for just for advice.
Mentally prepare yourself! Chad can’t count how many times the call center representatives have offered him this advice. They tell him to mentally prepare himself to go home each day. Chad’s hardest time of the day is the evening. He’s mentioned this before in his weight loss journaling. And he has to stay on top of it or this is the time of day when he will make a mistake. He tends to crave a snack while he’s working from home after the kids are asleep. It’s just a habit. So each day on his way home from work…he mentally prepares himself for this nightly challenge. And he also saves one serving of fruit for this time period so he has a healthy, HCG approved snack to replace the garbage foods he used to reach for.
By saying the Chad is doing the HCG diet Utah style doesn’t mean that he has some diet access that is exclusive to people in Utah. He’s just one of a large number of Utah residents that are taking advantage of the diet and the drastic weight loss that it offers. The HCG diet is the same in Texas and Arkansas and Alabama and Mississippi and New York and Connecticut and Missouri…and everywhere else.
