The Greatest And Most Enviable HCG Diet Recipes For The Holidays

For those of you who are about to enter the holiday season while on the HCG diet, I salute you. It’s hard enough to make it through the holidays without gaining at least five pounds; I have no idea how hard it would be to get through the holidays on a 500 daily calorie diet. Fortunately, however, I snooped through some online forums and found a few Thanksgiving and holiday HCG recipes that will make you feel like you’re still a part of the festivities. Most HCG diet recipes already include some kind of meat and vegetable; so why should throwing together an HCG-approved meal be difficult? The bottom line is that it shouldn’t. There are a few delicious HCG approved recipes that should not only please your palette, but that should make getting through the holidays just a tad bit easier.

It doesn’t matter what month it is – November, December, or January – it seems like holiday baking and cooking starts as early as the first fall leaf hits the ground. So with a plethora of high-calorie, high fat, high everything foods surrounding you 24/7, how do you choose a few HCG diet recipes that aren’t bland? Fear not! When you feel like snacking this holiday season, don’t – instead, try this delicious HCG recipe for salsa. And watch out – because it might get eaten by a few non-dieters, too! All you need are four tomatoes, three tablespoons of lemon juice, three tablespoons of finely chopped garlic, half an onion (chopped), a dash of chili powder, a dash of Italian seasoning, some freshly picked Cilantro (or dry, if you prefer), and salt and pepper to taste. Here’s the easiest part: Blend all of these ingredients together using a food processor. After they’ve been thoroughly blended, store in the refrigerator for at least an hour to let all of the flavors ferment. The longer you allow this salsa to hang out in the fridge, the more flavorful it will be! Here’s one recipe that’s totally HCG approved!

As everyone dishes up ham, turkey, potatoes, and of course, pumpkin pie this holiday season, don’t feel pressured to cheat while you’re on the HCG diet. There are plenty of HCG diet recipes to help you get through even the most tempting of meals! One of my favorite HCG recipes is for filet mignon and braised cabbage. Filet mignon? Yup – that’s right – you can have filet mignon while on the HCG diet! So, here’s what to do. You’ll need 4 ounces of filet mignon, one cup of shredded cabbage, some cider vinegar, some lemon pepper, a few packets of Sweet n Low, and a few Rosemary leaves. Cook all of the filet mignon in a stovetop grill pan. Use some of the vinegar to drizzle over the top while sprinkling the lemon pepper and Rosemary leaves over the top. Cook for as long as you like, depending on your preference. Now, for the cabbage, cook in a little saucepan with a little water; just enough to braise the cabbage. Add some vinegar and a few packets of Sweet n Low for flavor. If you like extra seasoning, add some lemon pepper, as well. Cook until the cabbage is done, by turning it over and over. When you’re finished, you’ll have non-dieters wanting to try some of your scrumptious dinner!

While on the HCG diet, you might think that having some good old homemade chili is out of the question. Guess what? It’s not! There’s a couple of really great HCG recipes for homemade chili, but only one that makes it holiday-worthy. Here’s one of the best HCG diet recipes to date. But first, let’s look at what you’ll need to make it. You’ll need: a pound of extra extra lean ground beef, a can (six ounces) of tomato paste, some water for broth, half of a finely chopped onion, garlic to taste (the more, the better!), some chili powder and Italian seasoning, cayenne pepper, and salt and pepper. Whew! Now for the best part. Cook the ground beef over medium heat; meanwhile, add all of the spices to the mix. When the meat is cooked thoroughly, add the water and the tomato paste. If you have a Crock Pot, now might be a good time to transfer ingredients. Otherwise, allow this mixture to simmer for as long as you’d like; the more you let it simmer, the more that the spices will soak up into the broth. Once it’s ready, go ahead and serve! This is one great chili that you just won’t find elsewhere.

In many ways, having a diet to stick to during the holiday season is much better than having no plan at all. So when options for HCG recipes include things like filet mignon and extraordinary chili, why wouldn’t you diet during the holidays?? Some of the most flavorful HCG diet recipes are the simplest; but they’re approved recipes, nonetheless, that meet the HCG standards. So don’t worry about going hungry or being deprived this holiday season. There are some truly remarkable HCG meals that will blend in with the rest of the holiday meals on your table. Make your friends and family envious of your diet – and make one of the HCG approved recipes today! Just don’t be surprised if your friends “sneak” a bite here or there.
