When starting a workout program consisting of fat burning exercises it is helpful to be aware of some factors that can decrease motivation or even harm you. Just a could of small mistakes during your workout session can create bad habits over time, throwing you off track. Of course this is not what any of us want. Below I discuss of few of these factors.
1. Impatience
Staying on track with your work out plan is often corrupted with impatience. If you feel you are not getting results fast enough, it is very easy to get distracted. You have to understand that your workout routine, no matter how good it is, will not perform miracles over night. Exercising consistently, day after day, week after week, month after month is the only way to get results.
Perhaps you haven’t exercised in years. Think about how many years it took to create you current physical form as well as the physical condition you were in before you started your fat burning workouts. You shouldn’t expect to see results in a week. Stick with it and look back in 3 to 6 months and realize how far you have come. Stay patient and stick with it and you will see results.
2. Too High expectations
If you think you are going to look like a super model or expecting miracles after a few days you will be disappointed. Keep in mind that the point of exercising is to be healthier and to feel better. The physical results will come but be patient and don’t compare yourself with others, no matte who they are.
In the beginning phase of the workouts a lot of people are so excited to exercise that they go too hard and get exhausted or burnt out. If you push yourself beyond your abilities or if you haven’t worked out since you were in High school you could easily hurt yourself and diminish your results.
If you push yourself too hard you are going be in so much pain that you will have to lay in bed and wait until you can exercise again. This is not motivating and can keep you from staying consistent. Be sure to start slow and lite to build yourself up, especially if you have never workout or haven’t in a while.
3. Doing exercises with bad form
This can hurt you badly, especially with fat loss exercises. If you are working out in a gym, make sure you understand how to use the equipment and how to do the exercises correctly. One little mistake in your exercise can hurt you for a long time or maybe even permanently.
Having a fitness expert who can follow you through thick and thin through the program is great, but for most of us, this alternative is too expensive. If you have even the smallest question about how to do a workout, just ask. Training staff exists to help you. This is their job.
4. Choosing an exercise plan that is not thrilling enough.
I have always been intrigued about the people I’ve come across running up and down the roads and streets, every single day. We are all different and have different choices when it comes to what we like. Some people like to run for hours-which is fine, let them get it done.
Some of us prefer more interactive exercise such as Tennis, badminton, soccer, smash ball, squash or even running with other people. Dance is also a great way to get your exercise.
If you enjoy what you are doing, you’ll be much more likely to stick with the program for a long period, and the longer you remain in it, the more you’ll enjoy it.
