Tony Horton is a celebrity fitness trainer who developed the Power 90 at home training program which came out in 2001. It became a huge success because of the results that many received within ninety days of doing the workouts. The success is due to a method used called Sectional Progression. It is a combination of various cardio movements and weight bearing exercises that target all areas of the body.
This type of training was made with the goal of an individual seeing results in ninety days. Aerobics, poly-metrics, and martial arts make up the foundation of the training. This combination may help anyone who wants to move in a faster and more explosive way when doing sports.
To have strong, long, and lean muscles in a short time frame, each body part is worked separately. A person may begin working the chest area and focus on that area only. Afterwards they continue to work on the back, shoulders and so forth until they reach the legs. In total seven parts are worked on for a complete workout from head to toe.
There are 3 different routines that are used in the overall program. They are the Sculpt Circuit which focuses on strength training and stretching. Then there is the Sweat Cardio which combines a variety of moves that help to develop one’s endurance and burn fat. The Ab Ripper is a routine that also utilizes the sectional progression technique for abdominals
In order not to overwork the body, strength training and cardio is done on alternate days. So an individual will do the strength part on one day and the cardio the next day. The Ab Ripper is done on the same day as the Sweat Cardio and right afterwards.

One of the important rules of both types of meal plans is the emphasis of eating high quality protein. Six small meals are eaten a day and at each of those meals, some type of protein food is eaten. This also includes lots of fresh vegetables particularly at lunch and dinner. These vegetables could be eaten steamed or raw. Snacks are included twice a day and water is also important.
