Today’s video lifestyle is often to blame for the gain of unwanted weight. You really can’t argue with that. Everyone differs, however, on how to shed the weight.
One of the main reasons we have a liver is to create energy from stored fat. That’s why it is so important that your liver always function at its best. Another function of the liver is to assist the kidneys in doing their job if they’re dehydrated. Drink more water and your liver will stay focused on transforming fat into energy! Maintaining a healthy body requires water consumption. Summing up: drink more water and consume fewer dehydrating beverages.
It costs calories to exist. Every minute of the day, we require energy – regardless of how much we expend. We’re all pretty much aware of that fact. Many people do not know that your amount of body muscle dictates your resting metabolic rate. Just the slightest increase in muscle mass will raise your resting metabolic rate, resulting in more calories burned all day long.
To benefit from increasing your metabolism, you don’t need to lift weights two or three hours a day. My day doesn’t have that kind of extra time in it – yours probably doesn’t either.
To build muscle mass and lose unwanted weight, don’t overdo it – limit yourself by starting with just squats and push-ups. It doesn’t require more than five of each exercise every day. Do them at home and it won’t cost you a dime. Want more workout than just push-ups and squats, but afraid you’ll need to buy a set of weights? Although it may sound silly, a pair of rocks will do the trick, even if they only weight three or four pounds each.
You must keep your entire body constantly rebuilding and repairing muscle to gain more muscle very quickly. Every part of your body needs exercising: chest, shoulders, back, biceps, triceps, quads, forearms, and glutes, calves and hamstrings, and abdominals. Do you need to force yourself to work out at the gym every day to achieve this? Not necessarily. It all boils down to: push-ups and squats. Work every muscle in your body with just those two exercises (it’s even better if you have time to focus on exercising the individual muscles).
Don’t overlook your diet; the last but still important factor of losing or gaining weight. If three times a day you consume a double cheeseburger and a large fries, and drink a soda that’s not calorie-free, you’ll struggle to shed the weight no matter how much you exercise.
While there is a vast array of opinions as to what diet works best (all fruit, pure meat, all carbs, low fat, etc.), the truth is different foods cause different reactions in different bodies. Basically, every body metabolizes food just a little bit differently than the next. A food that energizes one person may depress the next.
It’s easy to figure out which diet produces the best results for you. First, you have to know the amount of calories you eat every day. It must be the proper count for your current body weight. Next, take note of how you feel emotionally and physically thirty minutes after you have eaten. Do you feel lifeless? Want to flop on the nearest couch for a nap? Or do you feel rejuvenated? Ready to tackle any project? You’ve probably deduced the answer already because your body will tell you how it feels after you consume a meal.
Sufficient water consumption, a diet that fills you with life and energy, and light exercise are the basic requirements of losing weight. If you can integrate all three of the above, you will be living a healthier lifestyle – and effortlessly shedding extra pounds!
