Over the years going to popular fitness centers, I have noticed countless frustrated individuals. They had been working hard and long with their fat burning exercise routines and eating regiments but had very little to show for it. Talking with my relatives and friends, they would mention the latest and greatest product or program that they had just bought into and believed would be the answer to their goals. They just couldn’t wait to start the new program and were excited about the promised results.
After watching these same people who were so excited for a few weeks, their thrill with the latest and greatest fat burning exercise plan had dulled. It was hard to observe as they went from so excited to so discourage. Seeing their irritation I would question them on what was happening with their fat burning workout strategy. I would get the same answer from most of them. They were excited at initially and the plan seemed pretty good in the beginning, but it just was not generating the results that were promised. The exercises to burn fat had become tiresome to follow on a daily basis, not to mention the strict eating regime. They had tiered of the routine and were now off looking to the next answer for what burns fat.
Most of the individuals that I would talk to had hopped on the latest and greatest fad program from the latest exercise guru. They were looking for the quick way for burning belly fat and the newest workouts to burn fat quickly. Now they had become frustrated and after being on regimented intake regimes had even more unhealthy intake habits than before they started the programs.
The issue with many of the quick fix exercise routines is that they are focused on the short term instead of a lifestyle of fitness and health. Most of the workouts were based on low intensity aerobic exercises multiple times a week. There was no intensity to these workouts, yet people expected to get great results and a wonderful body in a few weeks.
You cannot look at your exercise regiment as a short tem fix to lose a few pounds. You need to focus on your long term shape and fitness thinking of your exercise, nutrition and rest as a whole package.
