There might be a hundred ways to keep fit under the sun, but if you’re a newbie, there are three simple total body workout routines that could help you get started.
Weight lifting. Here is an activity that most people think it’s too hard or their body is not strong enough to do it, but actually all of these are just misconceptions. The truth is, anybody could weight lift, and it just takes 30-40 minutes three times a week to do it.
Another misconception is that weight lifting is just for body builders. You might think “I don’t want those bulky muscles I just want a toned body”, well guess what? It’s not just for body builders. The results depend on the routine you choose, but lifting has a lot of benefits. It not only gets your muscle more defined and toned, it only gets all the fat burned, and gives your body more endurance.
Cardiovascular exercises. You don’t have to go to the gym to get your dream body. Just a simple walk outside could do the trick, or a run around the corner, or a bike to the park – all of these activities could help you get healthier, and they are called cardiovascular exercises. A plus benefit is that you just don’t burn all the fat off your body, but a cardiovascular exercise can also make your heart healthier.
There are two ways to go through this routine everyday:
Moderate pace – You could walk/run/bike, whatever cardiovascular exercise you want for 30 to 40 minutes at a moderate pace every day. In this way you could maximize the time without wearing your body out. However, if you want faster results you could try the second way.
High Intensity Pace – Most fitness experts say that this is a better way of doing your cardiovascular exercises. You could do a high intensity pace for a short period of time, maybe 30 seconds to 1 minute, depending on your energy; rest on a moderate pace a bit for a minute and then go high paced again. You could repeat the cycle for 15 minutes.
Start playing. Whoever said that workout routines should be so boring and robotic? If the past routines didn’t work for you, then maybe it could help if you spiced up a bit your workout routine and choose to play a sport instead. In this way, you’ve got a hundred of different sports to choose from and you can have fun WHILE keeping your boy fit and healthy. In this way, you shouldn’t be able to feel the passing of time before you get your dream physique. One day you’ll just wake-up feeling better and looking better. Good luck!
