Vegetarians that breastfeed may need to supplement their milk with additional nutrients depending on their dietary restrictions. It is possible that you will need to add the Vitamin B-12 to your milk if you are either an ovo Vegetarian or a Vegan.
B-12 will probably be the only supplement that your child may need, even if you are a strict Vegan diet.

It is recommended by nutritionists that after one year, you should put your child on a full fat, high protein diet. This does include vegetarian friendly food such as yogurt; nutrient fortified Tofu and pureed avocados among other products.
Once solid foods are to be introduced, you could add things such as pieces of vegetarian burger or solid tofu.
The main thing is to supplement your kid’s diet with the proper nutrients and protein that a vegetarian diet lacks, and maintain a full fat diet. You should have no problems in maintaining a healthy vegetarian diet during the crucial stages of your child’s development.
