When I buy new health products I like to research the validity of its health claims. I was somewhat tentative when I heard about Zrii”the Original Amalaki. Advertisements say that a daily dose of the juice is enough to achieve optimal health.
Taken from Asia’s ancient Ayurvedic medicine, Zrii combines seven botanicals that supposedly benefit the body in ways we all need. These ingredients are amalaki, ginger, turmeric, tulsi, schizandra, jujube and haritaki. I decided to find out for myself, and all of you, what science has to say about these seven ingredients. Here’s what I found:
Amalaki. The properties are heavily attributed to the strong antioxidant potential. Studies prove that this fruit can significantly lower cholesterol. According to Ayurvedic medicine, it is known to act as an anti-inflammatory, antiulcer and anticancer agent. Ayurveda also classifies it as a remedy for constipation, anemia, diabetes and acid peptic disorders.
Ginger. Was used to treat travel nausea”and continues to be used for much the same thing today. While little more is known about this root, experiments have shown that ginger helps to reduce tumor size.
Tumeric. Also known as curcuma, helps relieve symptoms of IBS and Crohn’s disease. It is also known to act as an anti-inflammatory agent.
Tulsi. Known as the Queen of herbs, this plant has been revered for 5,000 years as a healing balm for the body, mind and spirit. Ayurvedic medicine uses tulsi to combat malaria, certain states of weakness and asthma.
Schizandra. This Chinese herb has been used to increase athletic performance and is known to stimulate the nervous system, thus increasing alertness and muscle response. Sometimes, this herb is used to treat stress, depression and improve failing senses.
Jujube. In Asian medicines it is used to treat anxiety, insomnia and aid the digestive tract. With a high concentration of vitamin C it is also known to boost immunity.
Haritaki. Science knows this ingredient best as terminalia. Zrii uses the fruit of this tree in their nutrition drinks. This fruit contains antibacterial properties and is often used to cure infections caused by E. coli. Ayurvedic medicine considers it helpful in regulating digestion. Haritaki is also known to act as an anti-inflammatory. This fruit grows as high in the Asian evergreen terminalia tree reaching heights of 30 meters or more. Records of Ayurvedic herbal combinations using this fruit date back as far as 5,000 years.
After my research in several reliable medical archives I have discovered more benefits than what Zrii actually advertises. This product is sure to make a difference in consumer health. It’s no wonder these ingredients have been used for thousands of years”science still endorses them as health promoting substances. I no longer question the validity of the Zrii’s Original Amalaki nutrition drink.
The amalaki is a herbal ingredient added to the Zrii Amalaki Drink produced by Zrii. The nutritional benefits of this Zrii drink are many and will send you on your way to a happy, healthier you.
