I had my first attack when I was 21 while being at the office, talking to my coworkers. We were busy sharing stories when a sudden swift fear rushed through my body and I started to feel cold. My whole body was quivering when I reached the bathroom. When the water poured on my hands, my body shared and I fall off on my knees. I was breathing heavily while holding my balance. Thank goodness my friend saw me in such torment and caught me when I was about to faint. She made me drank some water which made me a little relax after a while. second encounter with panic attack was during my birthday. I felt the same intensity. since then, I was determined of undergoing therapy and medication. And thanks to these, my panic attacked was cured.
My experience pushed me to do further research about my condition. I learned a lot about panic attacks which is an anxiety disorder and it’s curable. The indications of this disorder are common to those who are tormenting on this. This made me come up with helpful guidelines taken from my previous therapy. Here are some helpful advice.
Post a Positive Point of View. My negative perception of life is what caused me to get into this anxiety disorder and panic attack. I was too anxious about everything and not too showy of my feelings. I fear being dismiss so I chose to isolate myself and withdraw from others, not realizing how much this risked my own self.
Live a Healthy Life. This only means to be physically and mentally fit by maintaining a healthy diet. My negligence of my made my body weak which in turn made my mind unable to withstand panic attack. My therapy made me understand that for me to cure panic attack, I must start by keeping in shape as poor health would lead to mental and emotional disorder.
Keep Yourself From Stress. Instead of enjoying my youth, I chose to be miserable by working and worrying too much. I was always in battle with stress, destroying me slowly. This explains why I had such anxiety disorder and panic attack. I was not in control of myself, letting stress toke over me.
How to cure panic attack should start with us. This only indicates that what we do to our body will affect on how the body will respond to us. Therefore, we must start taking care of our body by keeping ourselves away from stress and living the healthiest lifestyle.
