This makes so much sense as you are effectively reversing one of the bodily reactions to a panic attack. You can’t be in panic mode and be breathing calmly and slowly at the same time. It’s either one or the other. Here’s how you do it.
Breathe slowly through your nose and make sure you’re pushing out your diaphragm or abdominal area and not your chest. The easiest way to do this is to place your hand on your stomach and as you breathe in, push your stomach out. This will reduce hyperventilation, which causes dizziness.
