Overlooked Things People Eat That Decrease Length Of Life

Never has nutrition been so confusing for the average person. There are tons of new diets being released every year and tons of new supplements.

The problem here is that a lot of what is being recommended has been shown to decrease quality of life within peer reviewed research.

So here are some overlooked things you may be eating that decrease quality of life:

1. Lean cuts: Ignore all the enticing marketing here. You see, lean cuts usually have preservatives in them called nitrates that have been shown to increase cancer risk. The problem here is that when the meat goes through processing it becomes very unhealthy.

2. Grilled protein: Any source of protein that has been exposed to high temperatures can become cancerous. If grilled meat, for instance, has black charring on it you should avoid it. You see, whenever something gets burned or charred it becomes very unhealthy.

3. Fish oil: Although fish oil is one of the healthiest things you can eat, in excess it becomes very unhealthy. In fact, too much fish oil here will increase your risk of heart oxidation. Moreover, it can increase bruising and bleeding times.

4. Fumes: Although you really don’t eat fumes per say, they still enter your body and can increase lung cancer risk. So please avoid any type of food preparation that involves lots of fumes or smoke. The bottom line here is that you want to stay away from burning things.

5. Processed fiber: Despite all the marketing, supplemental fiber has been shown to increase colon cancer risk. So get all your fiber from natural sources like vegetables. After all, vegetables are far better for you in comparison to fiber powder.

6. Artificial sweeteners: Although we still don’t know how safe these are, you are better off opting out here. You see, some research has shown that artificial sweeteners can be mutagenic. So at the very least restrict consumption to a couple servings per day.

Unfortunately, in this day and age it’s virtually impossible to avoid toxins. However, you can take vital steps to reduce the toxic load on your body!
