Maybe you’ve also watched the infomercials, tried the cardio routines and done the endless crunches to get ripped and lean, but have found that almost none of them work like you thought.

In reality, you only need three main ingredients to get a flat and ripped stomach. The truth about getting six pack abs is that you do not need to build a bigger stomach, but rather decrease the amount of fat covering your abdominal muscles.

Having defined abs beneath the fat is obviously a good thing, but it will not pop-out before the fat is removed. So, if you are doing ab exercises trying to get ripped abs you might be wasting your time. Instead do workouts that focus on burning the fat covering them up!

This is intense cardio done in a interval fashion. My recommended protocol is 30 seconds “all out effort” followed by 30 seconds rest, walk or jog. Start with 6 rounds and add one round each week until you reach 16 rounds (16 minutes) then try to go further each session. Do this every day you are not in the gym.

The most important part however, is your diet or nutritional blueprint. You should be eating as much natural foods as possible, such as fruits, vegetables and lean meats and fish. Add some healthy fats as well each day. Try to eat “one ingredient foods”, such as apple, orange, chicken breast, etc. The more natural the better!

This is pretty much the fastest and easiest way to get ripped fast. All you need now is time and dedication in the gym in order to make it work for you. The longer you keep going the more you’ll get ripped, and the harder you work the sooner it will work. Keep at it, never give up!
