It’s one of the most commonly asked questions referencing the HCG diet. What is an appropriate HCG diet menu?
HCG diet menus van definitely vary. But they can’t really vary greatly due to the restrictions of the diet. There are only so many appropriate food choices. There are no exceptions; even when you just want to follow a recipe and allow that one spice or vegetable that isn’t “approved.” There’s no such thing as a recipe that is “almost” HCG approved. It’s either approved or not. And that’s it. Don’t make exceptions; you’ll limit your weight loss potential.
When you receive your HCG you’ll notice that there is one HCG diet menu provided on the back of the Pocket Guide that includes all the protocol and rules. The HCG diet menu provided lists lunch and dinner and snacks for a full week. There’s no breakfast meals listed because you’re supposed to basically replace breakfast with tea while on the diet.
When HCG dieters stick to the “tea for breakfast” philosophy they are able to keep more foods for later on in the day. Instead of using their fruits for breakfast they have saved them and can instead use them for afternoon or evening snacks.
Lots of HCG dieters discover that their hardest “time” is evening. They have a hard time in the couple hours before bed. They want a snack. They can’t seem to relax after dinner because they feel that a snack is required. Others find themselves unable to focus at work in the late afternoon because they want an afternoon snack.
These are the times when the fruits come in handy. They are the perfect (and only) snack items while on the HCG diet. People looking for a midnight snack find that they can save their fruit serving and make a smoothie in the evening. Those who can’t focus at work can take an apple with them in the morning and save it for when they start to feel that they can’t focus.
Make sure to consider your personal preferences when designing your own HCG diet menu. Design it around your preferences and it will be far easier to stick to. Are there any items that are HCG approved that you particularly like? Incorporate them more often. Are there certain days on which you’ve got time to “cook” and other days when you can’t? Take this into consideration when making your HCG diet menu plan.
Make sure to consider all the tools available. They can be quite helpful. Try the sample diet menu. That can be your first week. Then access some of the free articles provided in previous articles. Pull recipes together to generate another week’s worth of HCG diet menu for yourself. And then…you’re in the groove. And you can probably take it from there.
