Guerilla Tactics For Cardiovascular Exercise That Transforms Your Body

When done correctly and in moderation, cardio can increase hearth health and accelerate fat loss. The main key here, however, is that it has to be done correctly.

The key here, however, is not doing countless hours of cardio in the hopes of getting better results.

You see, doing too much cardio can be very damaging. Thus, here are some guerilla tactics to take your cardiovascular exercise to the next level while maximizing results:

1. Use the upright position often: Stationary bikes are comfortable, but not as effective as treadmills and other devices of the upright position. Because of biomechanics, doing exercise in the upright position burns more fat.

2. Don’t get bored: If you are bored with your cardio routine, then your body is most likely bored with it as well. And if your body is bored then you are probably not getting results any more. So switch things up as much as you can so that your body no longer suffers from plateaus.

3. Lift the weights first: By lifting weights first, you will burn much more fat when you start doing cardio. And wouldn’t you like to maximize the amount of fat you are burning when pounding the treadmill? In addition, your body will secrete more fat incinerating hormones if you lift weights first.

4. Crank up the heat: Although this may sound like common sense, pushing yourself hard is the best way to get faster results. One approach here is to intersperse periods of all out effort with periods of medium effort. Doing so allows for a zig zag stimulus to your body which increases calories burned.

5. Don’t have cornflakes: If you have a fast digesting source of carbohydrates before training, you will peter out much quicker. Instead, opt for a slower digesting source of carbs for lasting energy and higher intensity. As an added bonus, having a pre-workout snack will increase fat burning.

Implementing the above will make your cardiovascular training more effective. So don’t wait too long to apply what you have learned or you might forget everything!
