Having been teased as a child about my weight, I understand how frustrating it can be to change my thoughts about fat loss. Searching for answers can take a life time of trial and error. Parents sometimes give us the wrong message about what to eat and what not to eat. There are so many myths about fat loss, it’s truly time to kill the myths.

First myth to eliminate–if you exercise 30 minutes every day you’ll never be fat. Not so. Being fat is probably because you aren’t eating the right foods at the right time every day.

Eliminate this second myth–Cut lots of calories and you’ll become thin. Won’t work. Your body will not allow you to starve yourself thin. When your calorie count becomes too low, your body goes into fat storage mode. No burning of calories, just storing fat until the famine goes away.

3rd Myth to go. If I eat Low Fat Foods/Diet that will make me thin. The ‘fat’ is the problem. Many people have been on the low fat diet and many people are still fat. Fat is not the problem. And people are getting fatter not thinner.

Fourth Myth How about a Low Carb Plan. Lots of them out there. Maybe it will work for me. The diet is strict and most people have a difficult time following it 100%. And being on it for a long time is even harder. The real issue is when you stop doing Low Carb, the weight comes back with an extra 10 pounds or so.

Not an Idiot. Just needing answers. You are not alone, just look around you. Many people don’t know the reason why they are fat. It’s easy to change because the reasons are simple. You’re not eating the right foods or the right types of calories at each mean and you’re not eating at the right times. Easy does it. Food is NOT the enemy. Eating food more than 3 times a day is the solution. Yes, food is the solution, right foods, right types of food and right times to eat food.
