American diet consists of breads, dairy and other processed foods that are acidic. Gone are the days of plant based diets. There is no short cut in losing weight; like the water therapy, soup therapy or any other kind of therapy that is restricted. Limiting you into very minimal selection is not healthy in the long run. Simply because our body need different kind of nutrients to function properly. Some diet may promise a quick weight loss in a short span of time, but the usefulness remains in question.

The best diet of all knows what foods to eat, what it does to our body and what amount should be consumed. We must not deprive ourselves as the effect will manifest in our mind and body in the future.
