When we don’t want to go with some surgery or difficult physical training to lose weight, obviously most of us start changing our eating habit. We then think that we are doing the right thing. As fish is treated as positive food, sushi may also be treated as a healthy treat. However, it all depends on the type of sushi you are having. You may forget that many sushi rolls are prepared with a layer of cheese and mayonnaise which are undoubtedly not healthy at all.

Still arguing for sushi? You have a taste for that item and so choose the type which does not contain much fat. If you want to gain from the omega-3 fatty acid make sure that the fish isn’t fried. You may have the basic rolls.

After the fish items we may be attracted to fruit items. However, dried fruit may give you more calories when you may feel complacent that you are getting vitamins. As dried fruit is much denser than the fresh fruit, it contains more calories. In this case, it’s better to go for the fresh ones.

The third example of food that is taken to be healthy one but in many cases the fact turns out to be the opposite is granola. Simply put, we can say that most prepackaged granola mixes have added sugar to such a level that it surely gives you more calories and fat as well. That is why if you have a fascination for granola, try preparing a mix at home.

Even when you are being complacent that you are being vegetarian, you may be cheating yourself. Take the example of the veggie burger with a mixture of fat in it.

When you are considering the veggie burgers much less innocent than meaty one, you are simply being deceived. The fact is if you are adding cheese and dress it with other usual items, you are putting more fat into it.

Though it’s not easy to have control over your eating habit, we need to do that to keep us healthy.
