At night a lot of breastfeeding mothers need to wear nursing bras, so one especially made for sleeping is best. Nighttime nursing bras are made with a lighter material than others and are more comfortable, especially for sleeping. They are created with a crossover front so that it is easy to quickly slip the breast out and in during the night.
When buying a nursing bra, quality does count. The best bras are the ones that are easy to open and close with only one hand. They should also be comfortable with plenty of space and no underwire. This way the milk ducts don’t become blocked because of the tightness of the bra or the wire. Always make sure you have at least three bras on hand, you never know when a leak is going to happen and that way you always have one ready.
