While there is a lot of information posted about eating disorders, one must be careful about which information they are taking into consideration. Some of the information put out there is untrue and misleading.

Eating disorders not only cause damage, but also cause the body to develop other medical conditions that are both serious and permanent. It puts teens and young adults at the risk of having failed organs and heart attacks.

As with any hardship, nothing means more than support overwhelming the one whom is struggling. Having family and friends there to encourage and embrace can be the most beneficial of all.
