So…I’m a little addicted to the google alert. Have you heard of it? You get on and tell the site what you want to be “alerted” of and it sends you emails to alert you when copy shows up online with the topic or phrase you entered. Well…when I was researching Prescription HCG Diet Direct I set up a google alert. I’m that obsessive, yes. And today an alert came through that was interesting.
The company is actually currently ranked #1 in Ranking.com’s diet and weight loss category. And they score a 10 out 10 at TrustGauge.com.
What did I do with this info? Well, of course, I called my friend, Lisa. I needed to taunt her husband (who had tried to refuse to let her do the program with me) with the sheer validity and trustworthiness of the company we decided to work with. It was just too easy to say “I told you so.” It was one of those situations in which I couldn’t resist indulging my “I told you so” instinct.
I am on Day 4 of the very low calorie program phase of the prescription HCG program. And that means that I am on Day Six of the program since I had to first complete 2 loading days. The loading days were the days at the beginning of the program when I had to eat a lot of high calorie, fatty foods while starting the daily injections of HCG.
The loading days are meant to give the body time to absorb the HCG into the system in preparation for the VLCD portion. Day 6 had me getting up and getting on the scale first thing like I’m supposed to. And, dang it! I went up to 164. It’s only fair since I was never really, officially punished for my “mishap” on Saturday involving the Panda Express and Chick-Fil-A.
As a solution to the problem of having no willpower whatsoever when faced with available Mall Food Court food…I’ve sworn to myself that I would not set foot in another mall while on this diet. The temptations it represents are just too great for such as me, apparently.
I took my injection and my B-Total oral drops after I weighed myself. I drink a few glasses of water right before lunch which was turkey chili again. When I made it the other day I packaged the leftovers in individual servings and put them in the fridge for just this purpose. I had it with the Spicy 3 Pepper Melbas again.
I cut up an apple and dripped lemon juice over it. It was brought up as a great dessert/snack choice in some of the program reviews that I read and it was just as great as they all suggested.
I’m trying extra hard to focus on drinking plenty of water today. I want to see more weight loss tomorrow. I went out and purchased several “large” plastic cups so that I could cart around large amounts of water with me all over the house.
For dinner I made another recipe from the book I bought from Prescription HCG Diet Direct. It was Rosemary and Chicken. Although I skipped the marinating step which turned out to be pretty vital so while dinner was fine I’m going to have to try that recipe again to see if it’s way better.
I had a new kind of tea. It was called Red Zinger. It was okay. So far I’m not attached to any of the herbal tea flavors I’ve tried. My mom LOVES them, but I can’t seem to get myself into the mode of drinking herbal tea for pleasure. But I’m going to keep trying. I’ll pick up another flavor/brand and see how it goes.
