Bath Bomb Heaven

At the end of a really long week I like to come home and indulge. On my way home from work, I will usually get some good food, drinks, and a few romance movies to watch for the weekend.

However, there is one stress reliever that tops them all. I love to lay in a steaming hot bathtub, complete with bubbles, a good book, and a fun bath bomb.

I have been using bath bombs since I can remember. My mom would put one in my bathwater when I was little and I’d watch them pop, bubble, and fizz for a while.

Even she would use them as a stress reliever throughout the week and on weekends. She would always comment on how it made her skin feel and how good they smelled. I totally agree with her. In fact, it may be the only thing that I agree with her on!

I can spend the whole night in my tub as long as I have my bath bombs with me.

Depending upon where you purchase them from, they can be a little expensive. However, a quick little search on the internet will reveal just how easy they are to make on your own. The hardest part is choosing choosing which recipe you like best.

Even my husband uses bath bombs. He thought they were too girly, until he tried one. Now he steals mine and I can’t get enough. He works the night shift, so when he gets home during the day, it’s the first thing he does to relax. He often reminds me to buy extras in case i’m not home and he wants to take a bath.

We’ve discussed making them together with the kids as a fun Saturday project. Hopefully we can do that one day soon. I can’t wait! It’s going to be fun!
