Causes Of Facial Spots

Pressure is one of the most common internal causes of spots and freckles. The secretion of adrenaline increases in order to tackle the pressure when a person is under pressure. If such adrenaline is in a high secretion for sometimes, our body metabolism will be affected. When metabolism is affected, the nutrition supply to our skin is also affected. Therefore, spots and freckles may be formed due to the high activity of pigment cells. Therefore, it is important to relief your pressure regularly.

Slowing down of metabolism and malfunction of ovaries also cause spots and freckles. When metabolism and function of ovaries are abnormal, our bodies may suffer from hormonal disorder. Hormonal disorder increases the seriousness of pigmentation and the formation of spots and freckles. The best way to maintain normal metabolism is by having a healthy diet and life style.

UV radiations are the main external causes of spots and freckles. Skin cells produce melanin (dark pigments) to protect our skin under UV lights. Such melanin accumulates at the most sensitive areas of your skin. It is important to apply sun care products with at least SPF15 every day. If you apply sun care products with SPF 30 or higher, you should wash your face thoroughly after 2 to 3 hours as these high SPF sun care products may irritate your skin.

Ingredients in skincare and cosmetic products may also lead to formation of spots and wrinkles. When you skin is irritated by skincare and cosmetic products and that your skin is exposed to UV radiations before recovery, melanin will accumulate at the irritated areas and leads to the formation of spots and freckles. Avoid using the “fast action” skincare and cosmetic products as they are more likely to contain irritating ingredients.

Facial cleansing is the first step of skincare procedures. This procedure benefits your skin only if you can do it properly. Otherwise, it may make you skin even more sensitive and lead to over production of melanin. Once when melanin is produced, you are likely to have more spots and freckles.

You should choose a mild facial cleanser which has a PH value between 4.5 to 6.5. You should not cleanse your face more than three times a day. Use warm water instead of hot and cold water to cleanse your face. Gently massage and thoroughly rinse your face. Apply facial toner immediately after cleansing your face.
