Effective Bridal Weight Loss Using Food Combining

Because your big day will be here soon, bridal weight loss may be something you are considering. If you want to look your very best on your wedding day, then you may want to consider incorporating food combining as part of you weight loss plan.

Undigested food can get stuck in your intestinal track and cause bloating, stomach upset, and toxic by-products. A good bridal weight loss plan can fix this.

Can you believe that Americans spend more than a billion dollars annually on antacid type products? Fighting this problem is super easy with food combining. So throw away those chewables and liquids and lend an ear because you’re going to learn something new right now.

Has anyone every told you not to eat steak with a baked potato? If so, they know that your body secretes enzymes to break down your food. They also know that proteins require an acidic enzyme while starchy foods need an alkaline enzyme.

When these two opposing enzymes are mixed together, they neutralize each other leaving the food to rot in the system. When this happens, a few things can happen such as gas, bloating, constipation, and distended stomach. In addition, undigested food can become stored as body fat making it difficult to lose weight on any plan.

So how do we combine our food for most effective digestion and effective bridal weight loss?

1) Eat Fruit by Itself – Since fruit digests quickly, it’s best to eat it in the morning 1-2 hours before any other food.

2) Consume Protein by Itelf or with Vegetables but Never with Starchy Foods – Protein in a non-fiber substance so eating it with fiber rich vegetables aids in digestion. In addition, vegetables are filled with water which works in both an acidic and alkaline environment.

3) Starches should be Eaten with Starches or Vegetables – Since starches require an alkaline enzyme for digestion, they are best eaten with vegetables for proper absorption. For example, a properly combined meal would consist of a baked potato and a side salad.

If you drink water, tea, milk or other liquids during a meal, try to put them on hold for at least one hour after your meal has ended. Liquids can dilute the natural enzymes and interfere with natural digestive processes.

If you can implement some of these simple food combining ideas, you will most likely notice a difference in how you feel and how you progress with your bridal weight loss plan.

The next time you reach for a bottle of antacid pills, remember the idea of food combining. It could make a world of difference in how you feel.
