Electronic Cigarettes – The Real Truth?

Being a medical researcher for almost ten years, I’ve researched the honest truth about the nicotine content in electronic cigarettes.

This post is going to give you two things. First, I’ll bring you the facts about nicotine quantities in electronic cigarettes. Second, we’ll review the toxic chemicals contained in your electronic cigarettes.

Did you know electronic cigarettes contain 10-15 times more nicotine than in your regular cigarettes? You better. For example, smoking a Marlboro Red would equal about 1.2 mg of nicotine. Guess how much an electronic cigarette full-flavor cartridge contains? Try a whopping 16-24 mg. So what about light cigarettes? Marlboro Light traditional cigarettes contain between .8 mg of nicotine. The electronic version? 4-6 mgs. That’s 5-8 times more nicotine.

The spin the tobacco companies use to combat this thinking is in how long an electronic cigarette lasts. They suggest you’ll have between 60-80 puffs per electronic cigarette. That’s like saying you buy a Marlboro 100 pack and only smoke half a cigarette each time you need your fix. You and I both know this will never happen.

Quitting smoking can be a nasty process. Most people fail the first few times trying to quit.

Only, the reason is consistent among most people. It has to do with the patterns in your brain. These patterns have developed the habit you’re now trying to give up.

I can guarantee something will happen to you: you will keep smoking; you might die with a smoking disease; you’ll switch to electronic cigarettes and start inhaling toxic chemicals (diethylene glycol) or you’ll quit smoking.

To quit smoking cigarettes without the pain of withdrawal, do what bright people do. Quit using hypnosis. It’s helped millions of people quit smoking forever.
