I got myself a hybrid bike a while ago then I managed to get really bored of it, the hybrid was perfect for commuting however, when I made a new friend at your workplace who had previously been into proper outdoor items like Mountain Biking, I made the decision maybe it was period to sell the Hybrid Bike along with perhaps plunge to a large Mountain Bike instead. What i’m saying is, how embarrassing would it be if he suggested a nice day off-road bike riding and the man turns up in the latest prime quality front suspension Mountain Bike, after which I arrive with my hybrid bike all pimped up with bike pannier baggage, bell, rack and bike basket?
I realized I’d really treat myself this time, I’d personally buy a really fantastic, all singing, all dancing mountain bikes, especially with all of the money that I had saved from commuting on my Hybrid bike and selling my automobile. “Wow!”
I think when viewing the superior end Mountain Bikes on the internet, just as if it wasn’t bad enough seeing the values of the better looking Hybrid Bikes, though the prettier Mtb prices were ridiculous. I figured I’d have got to sell some organs or limbs to afford one of these brilliant fantastic looking Mountain Bikes, however riding it will be a little bit tricky.
Finally, I stumbled onto an elegant second-hand 1998 model Mtb, small amount rusty, but then so was I and beggars can’t be choosers I assume. I gave it a brand new paint job, got a few new parts for it and swapped the actual “Tour De France” bike helmet which i employed for commuting to get a sweet looking full face helmet, good for my new Mtb simply because it was the very same colour I’d painted it. The truth is I acquired the bike helmet first and after that decided to the DIY store to discover the same colour mixed up for me to paint the Mtb.
I had everyone fooled, especially my new friend from work. As soon as I turned up at the trail for an all day Mountain Bike session with my friend, he took one look at my new Mountain Bike and my new bike helmet and grinned, and that grin lasted the whole day as he watched me riding in front of him and his not quite so attractive Mountain Bike and non-colour matching Bike Helmet.
