There are many fast weight loss diets out there for dieters’ consideration. And many dieters have tried multiple program with little to no success. There is absolutely nothing more frustrating than working hard to achieve a weight loss goal and never actually getting there. It’s especially frustrating when you can look around and see everyone around you reaching their weight loss goals without a lot of problems.
The lack of success that is common for fast weight loss diets can usually be pinpointed to a few mistakes that are often repeated. One extremely popular common mistake is a lack of commitment. This particular lack of commitment doesn’t refer to how long your current relationship has lasted…it refers to your level of commitment to your diet.
commitment issues can drastically affect probability for success on a weight loss plan:
1. It decreases the chances that dieters will be able to withstand temptation.
2. Providing dieters with an easy exit: lack of commitment is really only related to one thing…the rules. If a dieter isn’t fully committed to the diet at hand they aren’t really dedicated to the rules. And the point of the rules is to lose weight. If a dieter isn’t going to follow them…they may as well not be on the diet.
3. Too many options are out there for there to be any lack of commitment. When a dieter isn’t fully committed to their plan they see other plans and will often jump from one plan to another without ever completing the weight loss program; thereby missing their chance for maximum weight loss.
4. Dieters who aren’t committed often don’t even believe in their chances for weight loss success; lack of believe will lead dieters to fail.
Everyone has issues. You have issues. And I’ve got issues. My neighbor has issues. Your neighbor has issues. But what we need to be doing now that we’re all aware we’ve got issues is identifying them. Once we know what our issues are we’ll be able to move forward and overcome it. Can you overcome your issue/s? Can you be a committed dieter? If not…it’s probably best that you just accept it and go on and stop your half hearted attempts to diet; they’re wasted.
Dieting is based on the need for commitment. Fast weight loss diets in particular are all or none in the commitment department. You’re either going to follow the rules of the program or you’re not going to follow the rules. If you follow the rules of a reputable program you will lose weight. If you don’t follow the rules you won’t lose weight. And if you’re on a “diet” and not following the rules…you can expect to waste your time.
But if you are able to claim your lack of commitment issue you might be able to overcome it. Some can recognize their issue and then go on and fully commit to a program that offers drastic weight loss results. They can make an exception and commit to a fast weight loss diet; especially if it’s a short term program that offers maximum results. Find a suitable program and commit to it!
