Flabby Arms And Their Relationship To Sugar

Sugar addictions are real. We are born liking sugar more than breast milk from our mothers. And studies have shown that high levels of sugar change quantities of dopamine in your brain. Not good for reducing flabby arms.

Unfortunately, if you have a high sugar intake your levels of insulin will be chronically elevated. And insulin completely blocks the burning of arm fat.

Thus, it is absolutely critical that you overcome any sugar addiction you may have in order to get rid of those flabby arms.

Here are some tips on how to do it:

1. Embrace the withdrawal. Simply being aware that there will be a sugar withdrawal puts you way ahead of the game. Many women just go around in circles and do not really understand what is going on.

2. Never go hungry. Once you begin to get hungry, your hypothalamus will drive you to seek out sugar. You want to avoid this at all costs. Keeping a consistent inward flux of food will prevent sugar cravings from overtaking you.

3. Get your mind off of things. I know some elite athletes that do activities with high distraction factors during their most gruesome dieting. Luckily, your nervous system can only process a limited amount of information at once. Distract yourself and the cravings for sugar will dissipate.

4. Consume artificial sweeteners only when needed. These are great tools for tricking your taste buds into thinking their getting the real thing. However, you do not want to go overboard here since we still do not know if high intakes of sweeteners over long periods of time are safe.

5. Have some south American tea. Specifically, yerba mate is the tea of choice. This stuff is strong and can completely block out your cravings for an entire day. The only issue here, however, is that if you take too much, you might not be able to sleep.

Getting rid of flabby arms and sugar addictions do not mix. I strongly recommend that you attack your sugar addiction head on if you really want lean and toned arms. Once the sugar intake is lowered, insulin will go down and you will be well on your way to flabby arm freedom.
