Focus On Your Mind Set To Build Self Confidence

By working on the emotional and mental parts you may find a more complete feeling of self confidence..

Feelings love to dominate our behaviors and responses, even though we don’t want it to happen . Generally emotions are seen as a sign of weakness, so people put them aside and focus on the rational aspects.

No matter how strict and logical you may be, you will always feel. One way or another, someone or something will get through you.

Good encounters tend to be closely related to the emotions and it’s what we want any way. Many of us now look towards psychological health and self esteem because we hope to achieve the best life has to offer. What is more important; the amount of money you’ve made during your existence or the times you chuckled out of pure pleasure? Maybe you can have both.

We tend to put our positive emotions behind our negative feelings. This creates a no win situation and a lot of frustration. We try and try but never succeed because we keep driving that old feeling.

In the event that we ignore our inner negative thought patterns they will persist and gain in energy as now we are concentrating on them. After we accept this the pattern soon loses its power simply, because, now we’re not fighting this.

For example, when you were a child, if your goldfish died, you would be saddened. Your parents will probably buy you another goldfish but the sorrow is still there. If we fight the sorrow it can become a prevailing thought pattern.

When you become an adult it gets more difficult . An argument together with your partner the night before may impact all of your next day. You go to work annoyed, tired, and your mind walks. On the way home you won’t notice the lake as you drive by you may forget to pat the dog so you miss out on the joy the dog can bring into your life.

All this because that one unwanted thought has contaminated the way you perceive the reality around you.

Should you realize you can find a safe location, unwind the mind and you be amazed at exactly how fast you are able to improve your psychological as well as mental well-being, building confidence to strive forward

That place is relatively easy to find. It can be an actual place or an imaginary location. The best idea is to totally lose yourself in it.

Let’s say you’ve got something bugging you and it just won’t go away. By changing your breathing and physiology you can change the way you feel. Go play a game to effect this change. It Changes the brains chemistry.

Get caught up in the game. Your mind will drift away from the unresourceful thoughts that dominated your thought patterns and start processing in a whole new kind of way.

A get away can take many forms. It can be a song, a movie, even a person or animal. The main thing is to surrender and let it move through you to change the way you feel. Lots of people eat to change their state.

You might still get flashes of the issue and that’s ok. Soon it will dissipate.

When the bowling game, the song, or the movie ends you will come back to a reality. You may find yourself returning back to the safe place. Do not do it.

The safe place is only there to help you when you need a break, not as a permanent escape. It serves only as a safe haven.

You will return from your retreat with increased energy levels. You’ll feel better about yourself and have built self confidence. You will see that any issue can be solved.

This is how time out for your mind from a hostile environment can increase your emotional and mental health. Try to do this regularly and you’re on your way to greater self awareness and self confidence.
