If you’re like me, you might need a fix of caffeine to start every day. My mornings are unproductive without it, and a nice cup of coffee always gives me an ample kick start to the day.
Some people get so into coffee that they don’t know what they’d do without it. From there, they’ll look for ways to avoid being dependent on it, or they’ll look for alternative sources of an energy boost.
Regardless of the situation, I’ve tried some other things that seem to do the job just as well as coffee. From there, it really comes down to a matter of personal tastes and preferences.
There is such a variety of energy drinks out there and it is a good route to go down when looking for an immediate, quick fix. So many stores these days will have in stock the latest in energy drinks from Red Bull to Monster.
Out of them all I would choose sugar free Monster as it’s in a nice big can and doesn’t cause me to crash after a half hour sugar rush plus it delivers a substantial energy boost almost as soon as you have finished it.
If you have trouble drinking so much fluid and want to try something smaller then the energy shots are perfect. They don’t deliver as much energy as the drinks do but it is certainly sufficient. There are brands like Red Bull that have brought out a new energy shots product but soon all of the energy brands would have caught on.
Green tea is really nice, it’s refreshing and it doesn’t have to be plain, you can add your own flavoring to it like rose essence and this along with other natural teas such as wheat grass tea will really help to give you a natural energy boost. It really is perfect for those that want a natural rather than a chemical alternative to coffee.
Coffee is delicious but, as with everything, there has to be a limit. I do hope that this list of alternatives will prompt you into kicking the coffee habit.
