How Getting In Shape Gets Easier And Easier Over Time

While it’s true that adaptation can make your progress plateau, it’s also true that many changes happen in your body that make getting in shape easier over time.

And if you aren’t aware of these changes you may prematurely throw in the towel.

So here is how getting in shape gets easier and easier over time:

1. Levels of testosterone increase: This happens in two phases. First, your testosterone will increase immediately after a workout and the mornings after a workout. Second, there is a more long term increase in baseline testosterone that can take a couple years.

2. Fat blocking hormones decrease: The primary hormone that blocks the burning of fat is insulin. And as you lose weight the amount of insulin you need to process digested food goes down. Now keep in mind that very small reductions in insulin can have a huge impact on fat loss.

3. The amount of calories you burn at rest goes up: You see, as you build more and more lean muscle tissue, the amount of calories your body burns while at rest will go up. This is the most time effective way to get in shape.

4. You internalize everything: The more and more you do something the more brain cells get allocated to that specific task. And over time this makes things automatic. The good news here is that once this happens these tasks will become very easy for you.

5. You feel less discomfort: When you first start working out everything will feel difficult and uncomfortable. Over time, your body will become desensitized to the discomfort and pain. In essence, you will adapt to the pain and be able to push yourself very hard.

6. Most of your hormones will increase: You see, as you get leaner and build more lean muscle tissue your body will begin to secrete more hormones. This is just a general response from your body because of its new physiology.

Rest assured that there is light at the end of the tunnel and things will not always be difficult. So never give up and keep on pushing forward!
