Did you know that every woman has yeast that grows naturally inside her vagina? So you may be wondering how a yeast infection occurs if you are supposed to have yeast. Well these infections are usually set off by an event, it could be simply that you are wearing the wrong type of under garments, you took a prescription antibiotic or even had more stress in your life than you normally do.
There are symptoms that are associated with these types of infections. Typically they include a white discharge that may look clumpy, a foul odor, and even pain with burning and itching in the vaginal area. If you use the two methods of treatment that we are going to discuss today you should be able to start feeling relief almost immediately.
Apple cider vinegar- Apple cider vinegar is a natural astringent that can be used in two ways. You should try to find a bottle of the vinegar that is raw or organic as the less processed that it is the better and more powerful it is. First fill a bath tub with very warm water plain water (no soaps or oils as this can irritate your skin further) now you will add two cups of apple cider vinegar to it and soak until the water becomes cool. The second option here is to make a mixture of 50% water 50% apple cider vinegar and taking a clean wash cloth gently use the mixture as a scrub.
Yogurt- yogurt is extremely soothing and cooling to your irritated skin, the best part is that it will neutralize the excessive yeast growth and help to restore balance inside your vagina. The simplest way to utilize this is to eat a large serving or two every day. This will not only help the infection that you are currently facing but it will help to control your infections in the future.
Make sure that while you are treating your infections that you are drinking lots of water and getting plenty of rest (even though you don’t have a fever you still have an infection) and eat a high fiber low carb diet and you will feel better soon!
