How to Lose Back Fat – Exercises for Weight Loss

A lot of women find that the hardest bit of fat to burn off is that little bit that overhangs the waistband of pants at the back. Even after they have lost huge amounts of weight from all over the body time and time again women report that this area sticks around.

However there is no need to worry about this bit of fat any longer because with the proper targeted exercises these little fat bulges can be quickly burnt off.

The following are two exercises that will help you get rid of that stubborn bit of overhang fat and the bulge around the bra area.

1) Back Extensions

For the back extension you are going to need to lie face down on an exercise mat. Now you are going to raise up your head and lower back while keeping the rest of your body on the ground. This should create an arc in your back. Go as far as you can until it becomes slightly uncomfortable. It is crucial that you stop once you feel slightly uncomfortable to avoid any back strain. Now hold the position for around 7 seconds and then go back to the starting position.

To begin this exercise you need to be lying down on your back, with your arms facing straight out over your head, preferably on an exercise mat. Now you are going to raise your right knee while at the same time bringing your left arm over to tap it, and then put both back down. Then you bring up your left knee and meet that with your right arm. You should notice that your stomach and back muscles will be relaxing and contracting a lot during this exercise, this is what we are after!

2) Lying Alternate Knee Taps

For this exercise you should get back onto the exercise mat except this time you can lie on your back. Now you are going to have your hands straight out along the ground above your head. Now raise your left knee while at the same time moving your hand in order to to tap your knee. Then return to the starting position and repeat with the right knee and left hand.

This exercise works out the stomach and back muscles so gives a good 1 2 blow to any fat around your midrift.
