4. Have water dense foods: The best options here are soups with lots of vegetables. You see, water makes you feel full, but it doesn’t have any calories. And soups with vegetables have lots of water with minimal caloric load. Thus, if possible, order a soup with your meal.

5. Be careful with side dishes: Although small, side dishes can have more calories than your main course. So make sure you stay away from them and focus on your main meal. Doing so will help you keep track of how much you have eaten.
