Never shop when you’re hungry! When you are hungry, your sugar levels will also be low so naturally you will look for sugary foods. If you go into a supermarket in this level, no matter how strong you are, sweets will always be in your cart.
We suggest you eat before you shop and make a list of what to buy so you don’t get distracted.
Never skip breakfast! Are you always busy in the morning that you actually never find time to sit and enjoy a healthy breakfast? Breakfast, which means to “break the fast” literally is the most important meal for the day. By forgetting breakfast, you are starving your body and letting it hold onto the body fats until it can. By eating breakfast after walking for 30 minutes, your metabolism will start and that means you will burn more of fats for the day.
Make sure to prepare the food the night before and set your alarm 20 minutes earlier than usual for the morning.
Do not ban the foods you love! When I first started as a fitness and personal wellness trainer, I preached to my clients about giving up their sweets and alcohol. What I realized is that banning them from those things just made them want for more. Instead of banning them, instill positive encouragements like eat vegetables with every meal. This was a very wonderful idea as veggies fill the tummy with fiber and clients will then forget about eating sweets altogether.
Never avoid fat! You are going to need good fats in order to get rid of the bad. It is essential for the body to have ample supply of good fats. Healthy fats make the body’s hormones happy. The best sources of vitamins A, D and E are found in good fats such as butter and animals. In contrast to popular beliefs, saturated fat does not show that it leads to heart disease.
Lower the amounts of your carbohydrate intake and increase protein and good fats in your body. This allows your body to burn fats more and faster, keeping you at a healthy weight.
