I Protect Myself While Walking With Several Types Of Self Defense Products

I do brisk walking as a form of exercise almost every morning. I have a favorite route across the park. In one of my walks, a man robbed me of my iPod and wallet but he left me unharmed.

Shaken a bit, I still continued to do brisk walking, but this time I tote an Electronic Keychain Whistle as a means to protect myself walking around, most of the time alone, in the park.

The Electronic Pocket/Keychain Whistle is just like an ordinary whistle although it is sounded electronically, not by blowing. Moreover, the whistle is not only a protection gadget but also a whistle that can be used for sports, rescues, emergencies, trainings, and traffic control.

I have added the Car Key Hidden Camera with Audio as one of my travel safety tools. With this addition to protect myself walking around my exercise trail, I feel more secure.

This hidden camera comes in the form of a car key where a mini DVR is embedded. No external power is needed for one hour, after which it can be recharged using a USB cord plugged into a computer or car cigarette lighter. Its file capacity is 8 gigabytes, equivalent to 3 hours of recordings. One can use any media software compatible with AVI files to view what was recorded.

Another gadget to protect myself walking is the Mace Hotwalkers Pepper Spray Walking Weights. It can be used both as weights while walking around, and as a personal security tool because of the 10% pepper spray in it.

I especially liked the fact that I can hide my keys and other valuables inside the compartment of this gadget. With the foam hand grip and elastic hand straps, it is easy to clean them with ordinary soap and water.

My travel safety kit never is my companion as I continue to keep fit. I have the right gadgets to protect myself walking day in and day out.
