If you have sleep problems, you’re not alone. Many people do, and I used to. Among the techniques that I wish I had in those days is EFT. Emotional Freedom Technique is currently available and helping many people who have sleeping difficulties.
The vicious loop regarding sleep deprivation does not bare contemplating. I can really begin to feel the worry of that by writing this article. It’s awful and never satisfactory. The days stretch on as tasks, the nights tend to be spent with noisy minds, the frustration of this difficulty, the careful management of your thoughts not to sink further into melancholy, and the wish that somehow some day you can be rid of the condition permanently.
Well please have a shot at Eft. It’s easy to learn, and much faster to be effective if you find a worthwhile practitioner. I have been an EFT Practitioner since qualifying in London’s Regent College taught by a Master Practitioner.
Sleep deprivation and insomnia can have different causes, but stress is always involved. EFT can reduce tension.
Let me give you a warning when learning EFT. Many practitioners or even people not competent but that write about EFT will want to spoon feed you with so called ‘set-up phrases’. In my experience the set-up phrases must come from your present experience and can not be given to you.
Emotions are trapped inside the both mental and physical components of our being. Each outward exhibition of stress and each layer of stress relief must relate to the continued vibrations of experience. No pre-processed words. They are your feelings. Your views. And your Eft must honor them. That’s exactly how EFT works.
Here’s one set-up phrase I found in another article:
Even though I’m worried about how I feel tomorrow morning, I choose to let my body rest if it wants to.
Awful, simply dreadful. Any insomniac will explain that the complete point of their stress is that they Cannot seem to ‘choose’ to ‘let’ their body fall asleep. That their body doesn’t want to. Consequently the insomnia!
Therefore please be careful when learning EFT. Find someone who can show you exactly how to set-up effectively. Through honesty, integrity and sensitivity.
