Chad’s in Day 16 of his all natural HCG program. He has been studying up on the protocol or dieting rules and ensuring that he sticks to it every day. He has found that when he has a “no weight lost” weigh in or even a small weight gain one morning that he can glance back through his weight loss journal notes and he can usually see what he can do to make sure it doesn’t happen again. On day 16 Chad got out of bed and immediately got on the scale. He was at 226 lbs. He’s up half a pound from yesterday.
Chad glanced back through his notes in yesterday’s journal entry to see if he could see anything that he could do better. He has been forcing himself to get all his water in every day by drinking a whole ton at night right before he goes to bed. He checks to see if he’s short and drinks as much as necessary to reach the daily benchmark for water intake.
But the slight weight gain made him rethink this conclusion and decide that it may not be a habit he should embrace after all. Drinking all that water right before bed left his body unable to process it all before the weigh in the next morning.
The weight gain Chad experienced on Day 16 was only half a pound. And that’s not really that meaningful to most people. It’s not a huge amount of weight or anything. And when you take into account the sheer volume of water that Chad ingested right before bed the night before…you can see it was probably mostly water weight.
So Chad had to come up with some other plan to make sure that he got enough water in each day. Instead of drinking it right before bed he’s going to catch up by drinking a lot of water (however is left for the day) right before he heads out on his daily walk in the late afternoon.
So Chad went up on the scale on the morning of the 16th day, but he’s still feeling good about his progress. He’s got more energy. He’s feeling more healthy in a general fashion. In his own words, Chad says, “I’m feeling really great. I’m not feeling sluggish and I’ve got high energy levels throughout the day.”
