Just about every bride to be feels that she is too fat. It might not be much, just a few extra pounds, but chances are she will want to lose weight for wedding day photos and to fit into the perfect dress. Fortunately, it’s possible to look slimmer in time for her big day.
Plenty of fad diets offer to make a girl slimmer rapidly, but the best way to go is through the tried and true methods of dropping calorie intake and burning more calories. With this combination, it’s virtually impossible not to lose weight. However, for the anxious bride, it might seem like it takes too long, so here are some tips to speed up that slimness.
Be sure to stay hydrated. You’ll stay feeling full and eat less, plus the more water you drink, the less likely you are to get bloated. Drink plenty!
Diet soda can be your best friend if you tend to crave sweets when you are stressed out. Skip the chocolate and have a diet cola instead. It’s not as good for you, but it is still better than non-diet drinks! It will still give you the full effect of sweet, too.
Keep a journal. Writing down everything that is going into her mouth is a good way for the bride to make sure she stays accountable. This will help her stay on track and realize when she’s made a mistake. It’s a great habit to get into anyway and can work for the long term.
Prepare some snacks ahead of time and you’ll never have to reach for potato chips or cookies because they are more convenient. Have tuna salad, boiled eggs and carrot sticks on hand in the fridge and you can snack on healthy stuff any time you get hungry. This is a terrific method of learning to eat healthier and as a busy bride to be, you won’t need to stress even more over meals.
Work out. Having a workout buddy can help with this one. Hitting the gym together to stay motivated usually works very well.
If you need to drop some weight before your big day, don’t worry. You can lose weight for wedding day photos and even for your dress fittings if need be. Keep it realistic and make sure you eat well still. No need to starve yourself, just be healthy.
