3) Soda and carbonated drinks
The sugar content is very high in carbonated drinks. It may be as high as 10 teaspoons of sugar in a can of soda. Avoid carbonated drinks and replace them with healthier choices such as plain water or tea instead. Get yourself a water bottle and bring it with you wherever you go. This will help to reduce the chances of you grabbing a bottle of soda to quench your thirst.
4) Avoid Processed Food
Some people don’t understand why they are not losing weight even when they are eating a healthy diet. Foods like cereals, white bread and pasta are thought to be healthy. However, these foods can cause you to gain weight easily.
Instead of eating cereals, go for oatmeal. Substitute white bread with wholemeal bread. Processed foods are packed in nice packaging they digest easily in your stomach. This can lead to wild fluctuations in your blood sugar level and you tend to feel hungry easily. Feeling hungry means that you tend to overeat on your next meal.
Keep this simple rule in mind. Eat as much natural produce as possible. This means foods that such as vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds and meat.
