First of all, exercise isn’t limited to lifting weights every day. If you can go to a gym and workout every day, that’s good, but most of us probably do not have the time for a full work out. Thus, we can save lots of time by working out at home. However, if you are to work out at home or gym, one concept is important: you must exercise consistently. Consistency is very important for an exercise routine to be effective on our body. Getting started is easy, but the hard part lies in keeping up a regular exercise routine, because people often give up.
Most people get on to a great start: they buy all different kinds of equipment and their first day at the gym very exciting. Then, as the days go on, they find it gradually harder to get to the gym, simply because of time or their determination has decreased, and so their routine slows down and finally comes to a complete stop. The time of choice by most people for work outs is the evenings, and if you can keep to a work out in the evenings then it is absolutely fine, but most of us find ourselves drained in the evenings, especially after a long day of work. Being physically and mentally tired, our bodies will be just too exhausted for a work out.
The result is that after the first few days of working out, the interest is gone, people plan events for the evening, and many unexpected things will pop up. Due to this, I hope you will set aside a time in the morning to exercise.
There are 2 main advantages to exercising in the morning. The first advantage is that in the morning our bodies are rested and full of energy. Please keep in mind that there is a popular misconception that exercise use up all of your energy but rather it does the opposite. Exercise pumps more blood through body and warms it up, so in fact, after exercise we feel more energetic and active.
The second advantage is that in the morning we don’t let the exercise routine affect the rest of our activities.
What about those of us who have never worked out before? In these cases, I would suggest perhaps looking for the assistance of an instructor, for which will probably need to go to a gym or YMCA. However, I have two simple suggestions that anybody can do without the help of an instructor: walking and swimming. Anybody can walk and swim (as long as you know how to). For these two activities you barely need any equipment and experts say that these two exercises have no side effects and are excellent sources of stress relief.
A good routine is to wake up half an hour earlier in the mornings, put on your walking shoes and take a walk. Also, there won’t be as much pollution in the morning too.
