You can use humor to justify your overweight condition. Your love handles can be embarrassing to you as well as those around you. No one likes having their flabby belly hanging over the top of their pants. Even when you give that a cute name like “muffin top” the appearance of love handles is something that most people try to downplay. You do not have to have love handles. Exercise is of course the best way to get rid of them. Not all exercises will do the job you want them to do. If you want to reduce your body fat, you need to focus on aerobic exercise. This is exercise that raises your heart rate and keeps your blood pumping. This type of exercise requires more energy than most other types which then forces you to burn fat storage for energy helping you drop the weight.. Three times a week for thirty minutes of an aerobic workout will do the trick. Gradually increase that to 5 times per week for maximum fat burning.
Weight training can be a good way to supplement other forms of exercising that you are doing. Weight training may not burn as much fat as aerobic exercise it is still beneficial. Weight training will increase your muscle mass and metabolism making your other routines easier to complete. You will burn fat faster with each increase in metabolism.
Don’t be taken in by someone who wants to sell you a product or service that “guarantees” that you will be able to lose your love handles quickly or that promises to target that region of your body. They are all lies. Honestly there is not one single exercise that will get rid of love handles alone. In fact, focusing solely on one exercise is a good way to build up the muscles behind your love handles. You will see them turn more prominent and perky. Do you really want to see that happen?
Love handles can be very embarrassing. Thankfully you do not have to live with them if you do not want to. There are plenty of ways to reduce these unsightly love handles. Diet and exercise are key to losing body fat. Never get sucked into the lies of miracle cures. Work hard and be patient to get the weight off. At some point you will return to the body you have always wanted to have.
