The gulab jaman that is a form of dessert prepared in the form of little balls, and placed in sugar liquid; Sheer Khurma that is a blend of roasted vermicelli boiled in sweet, condensed milk. Then there is a type of rice pudding known as kheer. They also make a variety of desserts similar to jam known as Murrabba which is a fruit preserved in sugar, which retain the nicety of the original fruit. Almost any fruit can be employed for this purpose but the most famous are the ones prepared with mangoes, apples and apricots.
