There are a lot of different weight loss programs out there. And each one has a different angle when it comes to transforming the body.
But this presents a problem: how are you supposed to pick the right one?
Well, you don’t have to think too hard here. All you have to do is implement the following elements into your routine:
1. Your balance of calories: Ignore all the marketing hype, how many calories you eat does matter. Even if you are eating healthy food. So make sure you are tracking what you are eating. This will provide you with a benchmark from which you can increase or decrease food intake.
2. Insulin levels: As insulin goes up, fat burning goes down. And the best way to control your insulin levels if by stabilizing your blood sugar. So make sure you eat slow digesting carbohydrates and try to have balanced meals as much as possible.
3. Exercise your entire body: Don’t just focus on exercises that work small muscles in your body. Even if you are targeting just one problem area, you still need to exercise your entire body. This will produce the best hormonal response.
4. Mixed cardio: Although high intensity cardio burns more calories than low intensity cardio, it can interfere with your resistance training. So the best strategy is to mix in low intensity cardio with high intensity cardio. This will prevent your body from not being able to recover.
5. Stable sleeping patterns: Getting eight hours of sleep is not enough, you need to sleep at the same time every night. This will optimize the production of hormones in your body. It will also allow you to burn more fat.
6. Unsaturated fats: The more fat you eat the better off you will be. You see, dietary fat helps your body shuffle calories away from your fat stores. So the more healthy fat you eat, the less body fat you will gain as long as you are in a negative caloric balance.
Focusing on the above will allow you to cut through the clutter and avoid analysis paralysis. So don’t make the mistake of over thinking this and just get going.
