Skin Lighteners: Natural or Synthetic

The draw of skin whiteners will be the allure of healthy perfect white skin. And because of that, the spotlights are shining brightly on skin lighteners nowadays. In order to fill the growing need for these products, companies are racing to produce new products; skin lightening lotion, skin lightening cream, skin bleaching products, homemade skin lighteners, and even pure skin lighteners which are produced from both synthetic and almost all natural ingredients. With all the skin lighteners that are popping up on the market today, the question in my head is, which are the ones that work well?

There are several reviews that I had read and accordingly, all the skin whiteners work, however, there are some that work better than the others. Moreover, the ingredients of these products are the same, but there are some that use more as compared to others.

In order to attract the buyers, companies are making products that can produce fast results. But then, these products can harm the skin and the body, there are even some that can cause cancer. WIth this, which one is safe?

Usually, most skin lighteners are using chemicals so that they can produce fast results. Because of the presence of the chemicals, they are no longer safe to use, most especially those that contain hydroquinone since this can cause cancer.

Products containing mercury also can cause great trouble for our bodies. The toxic damage by mercury poisoning can affect the brain, kidney as well as lungs. These substances that induce great injury to our bodies is sadly an important ingredient of some chemical based skin lighteners. You should carefully read the label before getting any of this stuff.

Natural skin lighteners

Ingredients of natural skin lighteners are nature-based. Among the ingredients are lemon extract, cucumbers and licorice extract. Lemon extract, a natural bleach is found in most skin lighteners. Cucumbers make the skin soothing and it promotes healing. Meanwhile, licorice extract is a great substitute for hydroquinone. It is a safe ingredient.

The other ingredient in organic skin lighteners is vitamin E. Vitamin E is safe to apply directly to your skin. This promotes healing of scars and lightening of the skin.

So what to buy?

Personally, I would prefer safe than sorry. Items that use harmful chemicals comes with advantages in making the skin lighter faster. However, the potential risks of taking these items may be great.

I don’t like the idea that the compound I’m implementing to my skin could cause me huge issues one day, due to the fact these products don’t come cheap. Using natural skin brighteners has more appeal for me personally. These skin lighteners use ingredients within nature and are considerably safer than artificial chemicals.

They may be expensive, however, they are cheaper as compared to those that use chemicals.

It is not only the best, but the most secure ingredient in lightening your skin. However, the question is, what product best works? skin lighteners So my dilemma right now is, which of all these items is safe for me to use?
